Recognizing the Impact of a Planned Gift

Planned gifts have a lasting impact on the Foundation for Catholic Secondary Education (FCSE) and its capacity to serve the needs of future generations of students at Catholic Central and West Catholic High Schools. If the FCSE is to succeed in its mission to promote and financially support the religious, charitable and educational endeavors of Catholic Central and West Catholic High Schools and its Diocese through responsible investing and distribution of resources according to the Gospel and the wishes of each donor it must have in place a strong and viable planned giving program.

In her book “The Complete Guide to Planned Giving” Debra Ashton states, “Planned giving is the vehicle through which inspired individuals can change society.” If you, our trusted alumni and friends, were to make a planned gift to the FCSE you could make a positive difference in the quality of education at Catholic Central and West Catholic for years to come. Just imagine ... if you were to make a gift of $200,000 to the FCSE, the interest that gift earns each year would substantially underwrite the tuition of one student to attend our high schools! The way the gift is structured would have a directed benefit on your overall tax situation and you would have the opportunity to feel something indescribable – the joy of giving, the opportunity of helping a student achieve a quality Catholic faith based education.
