 Remittance to Catholic Secondary Schools continues to grow

April 1, 2016 – From November 2010 through March 2016 the Foundation for Catholic Secondary Education (FCSE) will have donated $1,825,926.00 in tuition assistance to Catholic Central and West Catholic students.  Forty eight percent (48%) of all students attending Catholic central or West Catholic are receiving some form of tuition assistance.

**The FCSE donated $20,000.00 to assist the Catholic Secondary Schools with the purchase of iPads for the one on one computer initiative.

The FCSE has added twenty-five (25) new endowed scholarships since 2011 totalling $1,275,657.00 The FCSE currently has thirty-nine (39) endowed scholarships. Nineteen (19) for Catholic Central High School, eleven (11) for West Catholic High School and nine (9) shared for both high schools.

Catholic Central and West Catholic High Schools continue to make Catholic education a financial reality for all families interested in attending our high schools. As you can see from the graphs below, the average financial aid award increases as the family income decreases. In many situations, our families are paying a tuition rate similar to what they encountered at our partner K-8 schools. Catholic education is a sacrifice no matter your income level, but it is our goal to help ensure that sacrifice is within reach for your family.
